The new theme park and Disney resort will represent a unique combination of legendary Disney stories, renowned entertainment attractions, and the vibrant cultural atmosphere of Abu Dhabi, its hospitality, stunning beaches, and unique architecture.

MIRAL will take on the development and full construction of the project, while Disney and its legendary designers will be responsible for the creative design and operation management to ensure a world-class experience. This announcement is a significant achievement for both MIRAL and Disney, as well as a quality contribution to reinforcing Yas Island's status as a leading global center for entertainment and tourism.

Details about the new theme park and Disney resort will be announced later as the project progresses. The event, held at Yas Links, included performances by the world-renowned pianist Lang Lang, the famous Emirati singer Rashid Al Najimi, stars of the musical "West Side Story," Kiri Te Kanawa, and classical singer Sonia Balsaru.

The event featured global celebrities, including Tyrese Gibson, Naomi Campbell, and Ennis Ajram, along with outstanding personalities and representatives of major media companies to witness the new era for the Disney brand and the developing Yas Island as a leading international entertainment destination. Against the backdrop of a magnificent marine landscape, Yas Island organized a major show of drones, embodying the spirit of innovation and fantasy uniting both companies.

The expected theme park will become a flagship Disney hotel worldwide and the first in the region of the Middle East, representing an important milestone, uniting visitors from the countries of the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and other markets. As part of the announcement of the new project, significant attractions across the UAE, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Aldar company headquarters in Abu Dhabi, were illuminated with captivating light shows inspired by the Disney world.
